The Annual Montana Audubon Bird Festival is fast approaching. Join fellow birders at the Annual Wings Across the Big Sky Festival June 8-10. Registration begins Friday, June 8 at 1 pm. Dr. Stuart Strahl, President and CEO of the Chicago Zoological Society will be the key note speaker on Friday night. There are numerous presentations including Professor Avian Guano, aka Dennis Olson, Black Swift Monitoring with Lisa Bate, Senior Director of Public Policy for MT Audubon, Janet Ellis and Larry Berrin, Executive Director of MT Audubon.

Cakes for Conservation auction will raise funds to support the Jewel Basin Hawk Watch and the West Valley Wetlands. The auction takes place at the festival banquet on Saturday, June 9, The Flathead Audubon Dessert Auction Committee has been charged with arranging the donation of about 30 desserts for the auction. More are needed.
