Join Montana Audubon’s Director of Policy & Science, Amy Seaman, for a series of online Raptor Identification Workshops!

There is no question that learning how to identify raptors takes time. That is why we are going to help Flathead Audubon Society celebrate raptor week with a three-part raptor identification series and fundraiser. This is a great opportunity to help support raptor migration research, and brush up on your raptor identification skills. This year’s identification classes will be held online, which means you can join us no matter where you live.

Classes will be held three days, September 15 –17, 10 AM and 4 PM, using the Zoom platform. Amy will break down Buteos on day one, Accipiters and Allies day two, and Eagles and Vultures day three. The classes will be jam packed with both introductory and advanced tactics used to identify each of Montana’s migratory raptors

Participation in the class will be $10 individually, or $25 for all three! Registration will open Tuesday August 25 at www.MTAudubon.org. For details on these events, please email Amy Seaman at aseaman@mtaudubon.org.
