The newly updated version 6 of the Western Montana Bird Songs CD by Bruce Tannehill identifies the songs and calls of over 120 bird species, the location in which each was recorded as well as the page number in the SIBLEY Field Guide to Birds of Western North America which illustrates each species.
Bruce Tannehill and Gail Cleveland have been recording local bird songs for over 15 years. Improvements in equipment and technique as well as the luck needed to find the right bird singing in the right environment has lead to 6 versions. They have over 3000 recordings of local bird species.
The new (2018) version 6 of the Western Montana Bird Songs has many improvements and additions in call and song quality. There are 120 bird species represented. The distinct advantage of our CD is that it gives the local dialects of each species.
The CD will play on any audio CD player or can be played on a computer via iTunes or media player.
